Due to its expertism in industry, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (The No1 Education University in Malaysia) has partnered with Globalink to further topped the education industry. The partnering between education insitituion and industry will definitely brings a total new era in education and its human capitals in education industry. Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of any country. They have become even more important given the increasing pace of globalization and technological changes provide both challenges that are taking place in the world. Countries with higher and better levels of skills adjust more effectively to the challenges and opportunities of globalization. As Malaysia moves progressively towards becoming a ‘Knowledge economy’ it becomes increasingly important that we should focus on advancement of skills and these skills have to be relevant to the emerging economic environment. In old economy, skill development largely meant development of shop floor or manual skills. Even in this area there are major deficiencies in our workforce which need to be rectified. In new or knowledge economy the skill sets can range from professional, conceptual, managerial, operational behavioural to interpersonal skills and inter-domain skills.

In the 21st century as science progresses towards a better understanding of the miniscule, that is, genes, nano-particles, bits and bytes and neurons, knowledge domains and skill domains also multiply and become more and more complex. Understanding the needs of skill development, Globalink Training Sdn. Bhd. has draw up a great effort in this field. Globalink Traning Sdn. Bhd has since grown into a thriving and dynamic global skill training hub. ndary, tertiary education and skill training.

One of Globalink’s key efforts has been to provide the necessary facilities and technical skills for local and foreign students through its apprenticeship program that it offers.

Our mission is to reach, teach, and empower under-skilled individuals to be responsible citizens. Our motive is to equip people with the tools required to succeed in life. We help them discover the confidence to fulfil their own great dreams for their families.

What distinguishes Globalink from other institutions is that we go to the fundamentals and touch lives and meet needs that no other educational centre can touch! Our practical and theory sessions enable the student to learn and understand the subject. Our on the Job-training (OJT) and Internships also help us to develop a better skill employee in the future. Our modules structures, practical training and OJT training are not developed to emphasize on the skill development alone, but also to develop the attitude of good employees thus fulfil the ideal employee criteria who is skilful with good attitude.

Todate, 5 training centre has been setup:

a. Pandamaran, Klang – in a commercial building. A total of 10000 sqft which can accommodate a minimum of 200 student at one go. It has 4 trainig rooms, lobby, prayer room, and toilets.

b. Kemuning Prima, Shah Alam – In a commercial unit of 1st floor. A total build of 2500 sqft which can accommodate a minimum of 75 student at one go. It has 3 rooms for training, 1 room for staff, 1 lobby, 1 prayers room for muslims and 1 pantry together.

c. Amerin Mall, Balakong – in a mall unit of 1st floor right situated at near to the lift and can drive through. A unit that can accommodate not less than 150 student at one point. 4 rooms for training with one lobby area. The total built-up of 3500 sqft.

d. Penang – in a commercial building. A total of 5000 sqft which can accommodate a minimum of 200 student at one go. There is 5 training rooms, lobby, prayer room and toilets.

e. Kota Kinabalu – in a bungalow unit – A total of 10,000 sqft which can accommodate a minimum of 200 student at one go.
